Graham and Linda were in their early 60s. They wanted to get financially organised to prepare for their imminent transition into retirement.
What did they need help with?
The couple had a range of pension plans and other investments, and wanted some help making sure they made the right decisions for them and their family.
Their children needed help now, not when their parents passed away, but Graham and Linda still had plans for their own retirement which they didn’t want to compromise.
What we did
We worked with Graham and Linda over a period of time to properly organise their affairs.
A big part of our work was making arrangements so that they could clearly distinguish between funds that could be used to allow them to enjoy the next 30 years of retirement, and funds which could be passed on to their children and grandchildren at a time of their choosing.
This gave them great peace of mind, as they could see clearly how much would be available for their retirement. We also reduced their tax bills and improved their investment returns as well!
Graham and Linda now
Graham and Linda now have complete confidence that they can achieve their retirement goals. They can now travel the world and explore new hobbies, all with the peace of mind that their finances are in order
They can also help their children and grandchildren with weddings, house deposits and education fees, safe in the knowledge that their own financial position won’t be compromised.
Graham and Linda are now very happy and looking forward to a wonderful and well-earned retirement.
